The Oliver Paipoonge Fire and Emergency Services is committed to providing quality service in a safe, yet fast and efficient way to all people in the municipality as well as mutual aid to surrounding townships of Kaministiquia, Conmee, O'Connor, Gillies, Neebing, Gorham and Ware, Lappe, and Shebandowan. The Fire and Emergency Services operate out of 6 halls in the municipality. There are approximately 50 members of the Oliver Paipoonge Fire and Emergency Services department. There are six fire halls in Oliver Paipoonge, they are located in Murillo, Kakabeka Falls, Stanley, Intola, Rosslyn and Slate River. Overall, in the township there are 6 Pumper Trucks, 6 Rescue Vehicles, 3 Tankers, 1 Chief's Van, and 1 4x4 Pumper all distributed throughout the municipality.
