Fire permits are required year round for all open air burning except for fires used for cooking and warmth as provided in Regulation 457 under the Forest Fires Prevention Act. Fire permits are required year round and all burning is to be conducted between two hours before sunset to two hours after sunrise with winds less than 15 km per hour unless authorization has been obtained from the Fire Chief or his/her designate (935-2622).
